Energy optimization
Energy occupies an important part in the operational costs of a commercial naval establishment. Currently, fossil fuel energies such as diesel, fuel oil and petroleum are virtually the only sources used to meet the needs of this important niche of our economy.
The accelerated evolution of technologies related to clean energies now makes it possible to adapt them to different types of boats in the naval sector, thus optimizing their energy consumption and reducing their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. But to do this, the essential offloading of fossil fuels, towards a cleaner energy source, must be carried out step by step in order to ensure a good Energetic Transition.
At ESL, we help our clients to fully understand their energy use and we offer them sustainable avenues for improvement that will allow them to collaborate in achieving Government targets for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG). Our optimization proposals include an assessment of costs, savings and profitability.
